Cleanings
Each patient is different, but everyone needs a dental cleaning every 6 months. If you have periodontal gum disease you may need cleanings as frequently as every 4 months. This, however, should not be the only cleanings your teeth receive! It is important to brush and floss your teeth at least twice a day. If you are a heavy coffee or soda drinker try to brush your teeth immediately after drinking these beverages to prevent staining.
Our hygienist does an excellent job in educating each patient on the importance of cleanings in relation to their individual mouths and hygiene habits. If this is your first or hundredth cleaning, the process will leave your mouth fresh and feeling new!
Your insurance usually covers the cost of twice a year cleaning (they understand the importance of regular cleanings). If you don’t have insurance please don’t be discouraged, Dr. Kellar’s prices are fair and reasonable.
